Created by Holly Bedell, a graphic designer and former art director, The Paper Nickel Stamp Company is a cleverly compacted, concise online store featuring the very best in vintage stamps. After noticing that the market was lacking an outpost of unique, sellable stock, Holly realized the need for an organized website dedicated solely to these postal flourishes.

Fast-forward a year later and The Paper Nickel Stamp Company is born. Relying on her keen eye, Holly handpicks the cache of colorful, cultural and charming collections for each and every order, pulling from her enormous inventory, which spans a variety of decades from the early 1900s through the late 1980s.
Whether it’s mixed packs or custom packages, your stamp purchase is guaranteed authentic and original. “I like to think of stamps as tiny little posters,” she says. “Each is exceptional and individual and provides the ultimate finale to your mailing.”

At The Paper Nickel Stamp Company they strive to make your selections and experience as easy as possible. That’s because they know the stamps will be used to adorn your most cherished packages, letters, invitations and correspondence, something they take pride in.
The Paper Nickle Company offers two choices:
Feeling eclectic? Require just one pack of vintage stamps to embellish a special package? Or do you need enough to affix to an entire stack of wedding invitations? Flexible and fun, this option let’s you choose the amount you need and leaves them to choose the stamps. Fit for anyone who wants a sweet and surprising mix, each 44 cent packet (that’s enough for one standard envelope) is stuffed to the brim with a variety of sizes, shapes, colors and graphics and are rarely repeated.

For mixed packs, please allow 2-3 business days for your order to be filled, plus an average shipping time of 2-3 days. If you are ordering over 150 packs, please allow a few extra days to fill your order.
Know what you want? Give them a decade, a color scheme, a motif or just a general idea and they will put together an offering that’ll be perfectly unique. Simply let them know what you’re looking for (be it flora, fauna, nautical or nature) and they will reply with a recommendation tailored to your needs. Because every custom order is different, they determine the pricing and timeframe based on the availability of the stamps you’re interested in and the time it takes them to fill your order.
Spanning from the early 1900s through the late 1980s, all of their stamps are nationally and internationally valid and can be used through the U.S. Mail.
A perfect way to make a plain envelope more interesting.

Ashley
