I am crazy about everything Irving and Fine.
Ikat, blockprint and hand embroidery from India, Central Asia and Turkey are some of the favored traditional textiles seen in Irving & Fine’s collection designed by textile designers Carolina Irving and Lisa Fine.
Irving & Fine’s kaftans, tunics, sari dresses, peasant blouses and Turkish coats have been featured in Vogue, Town & Country, Departures, ELLE, Oprah and now ProductSnob.
My favorite piece is the Lamu Coat. It is so versatile, it comes in natural or blue linen and is embroidered with black raffia and wooden beads. It retails for $700.00 and can be ordered by contacting info@irvingandfine.com.

In addition, I love the photo of Carolina Irving wearing the coat that appeared on Tory Burch’s site where they named Carolina best dressed. Carolina paired the coat with Tory’s fun sequined skirt.

A collection inspired by a love of travel and a passion for textile and color, Irving & Fine’s unexpected mix of pattern, color and intricate embroidery reflects more the spirit of the spice markets and souks than of the runway.
Smile,
Ashley
