Inslee Haynes was studying studio art and art history at Washington & Lee university in Virginia and concepted the now Inslee by Design. What started as four original note card designs has grown into her full time profession and passion.
Inslee is inspired first and foremost by fashion, both the looks that come down the runways and also the unique moments of personal style she spots on the streets. She adores feminine, classic design as well as vintage style. Inslee lives and works in NYC where the sights of the city are constantly inspiring her.
Inslee has been accepting commissioned projects since the summer of 2009 and has had so much fun illustrating the ideas that come across her desk. “Not knowing what exciting new job I will wake up to each day is probably the most fun part about being a freelance artist,” said Inslee.
