Dishes have never been a strength of mine, so if I can bring some style to the chore it may actually inspire me to be better at doing dishes (something my husband would be over the moon about). I have found myself drooling over these tea towels from England; two words: simply brilliant.
ToDryFor.com is an online boutique specializing in designer tea towels. They are a husband and wife team based in Oxford, England, sourcing over 100 tea towels from numerous designers. In addition to acting as a retailer, they also produce their own ToDryFor range of artist-commissioned tea towels, promoting work by both prominent and up-and-coming artists and illustrators.
They started ToDryFor in March 2008 and have been overwhelmed by how many people share their love of tea towels and good design. Whether they’re used for mopping up spills, hanging on the wall as affordable art or simply for drying the dog, they cater to everyone.
If my pocketbook allowed, I would purchase every single tea towel on their website. What are your favorites?
