The hubs and I moved into our new house late February 2011, so this is the first year to decorate for the holidays. Now, I went into this holiday season without a stitch of decorations, I had to go and get everything.
Who knew how addictive it could be? Certainly, I did not. I really did not have any idea how much work it is. Cheers to my mom for doing it all these years.
So, I have decided to stair step the situation and get a few big things each year–this year I did my mantle and tree, and of course my doors outside–pictures to come tomorrow.
My favorite pictures of Christmas decor come from Traditional Home Magazine this year, taken by the great Michael Partenio. Absolutely crazy for this house. Crazy.
